A solid backpack with extensive features
I use the backpack for both work and non-work days. The side bottle pockets can easily hold a large water bottle. I love the 4 pocket sections for a small iPad or laptop, sunglasses, wallet, notepad, pens, etc. On more casual days, I can use it for hiking and the chest strap works well to help with the heavier load if necessary. All around, a solid project that gets a great deal of use.

Had my eye on this for a while.
The only thing I would change about this backpack is the iPad pocket size. I wish it fit my full size iPad instead of just a mini. Otherwise I really love this backpack. It fits everything else I need, it looks very sleek, and it has a very high quality feel to it. It is a little on the expensive side unless you can get it during a sale like I did but as long as it holds up good I believe it was well worth it.

This is my second north face backpack. Had the first one for 15 years and took it all over Europe. Love this product.

Durable and practical backpack
The materials are very durable. The backpack has lots of pockets. The compression straps also help secure water bottles or other tall items that you can fit in the side pockets. I use this backpack everyday on my commute to work. I've taken it to weekend trips, to hikes, and even to a 2 weeks trip to europe. The chest and waist straps help a lot to distribute the weight of the backpack. During one of my bike commutes, I stumbled with something on a gravel road, and I got projectiled from my bike, landing/sliding on the very rocky gravel. I partially landed and slid on my backpack, which actually helped to soften the landing. The backpack barely got a few scratches. That happened about a year ago, and the backpack is still in perfect condition.
