Customer Images

Here's what customers have to say

The jacket is lightweight and comfortable, but some customers found it lacking in waterproofing and durability. While effective at keeping users dry in the rain initially, the inner lining reportedly broke down and flaked off after washing for some. The quality was described as poor and not worth the high cost by several reviewers.

Great lightweight rain jacket

Overall, nice lightweight rain jacket. It's definitely thin, so won't keep you warm. Other reviewers were complaining about the the 'plasticky' feel of the inner lining, but that's better than mesh in my opinion. Fits true to size, I sized up so I could wear it with a sweatshirt underneath. Color is beautiful!

Not Waterproof

I wore this in the rain today. It is not waterproof. The jacket was completely soaked and so was I by the time I got out of the rain. Really disappointed considering the price for this jacket.

Great raincoat

So far this jacket is great! It's lightweight and waterproof. I appreciate the fact that there is no Velcro around the hood because on other jackets my hair get tangled.

Waterproof lining peels off!

I loved this jacket, except the waterproof lining broke down and flaked off inside. I bought the exact same jacket to replace it. The lining on the second jacket did the same. Do not purchase.

Do not buy this product.

This jacket is terrible quality. I received as a gift from my mom and with one wash, the interior lining flaked completely off. It was all over the clothes in my washer. I called Northface to ask them to help me figure out a solution, but did not want my mom to know I was returning this product, and they were less than helpful. Spend your money on something else or else elsewhere.

I own one and loved it so I bought one for my daughter!

I have this jacket and loved it so I purchased it for my daughter. She is a Golfer. She has used it several times on the Golf course during down pours and it has kept her dry. She loves it.

Rain jacket platonic ideal

Seriously. This thing kept my shirt totally dry while I was helping run a middle school camping trip in absolutely pouring rain. If it can do that it can do anything.

Did I just buy a plastic bag?

This is crazy that they charge so much for something that feels so flimsy and cheap. I thought there would be some soft fabric or netting inside. The inside lining looks and feels like a tarp.
