Needs better colors for wide feet
Shoe is comfortable but the color selection for wide sizes is abysmal :(

Love them!! Super comfy and roomy and light.
Have run with these 50+ kms already and I LOVE them. Great for lung runs as they are super comfy and theres a lot of room in the toe area for my wide-ish feet. They are everything BUT a speed shoe. Which is expected as they are meant to be for zone 2 / recovery and long runs!

Great fit and durability
I have been running 5km twice a week in these shoes for over 6 months now. These shoes are as comfortable as the day I bought them. They have been put through their paces and there has been no fraying or ripping of the uppers. The sole still retains tread and the feel is phenomenal. I love my Guide 18s

Wore out way too fast.
Only 85 miles, outsole worn out and flat. Foot now hurts if use. First pair of saucony very disappointing. Never had happen before. Do not recommend.

Unhappy with wear of shoe.
Great support as usual. With the removal of hard rubber in the mid forefoot, shoes wear down much faster than they should. Shoes only lasted 6 months with moderate mileage. Will likely be looking for a different brand if there is where the support running shoe is going.

Outsole durability issue
The toe off section (mid section) of the outsole does not have tough rubber. It is exposed mid sole. I only put 106 miles on my pair and already that section is completely flat. And yes I getting a bad knee pain. I would not recommend this shoe.

Guide 18 Top Eyelets - EXTREMELY POOR QUALITY
Saucony Guide 18. Have worn Saucony shoes for years and overall love them. HOWEVER. This last purchase of the Guide 18 Extra Wide was a disappointment. The top eyelet blew out in less than 6 months, making the shoes unusable (with security).

Too much change from Guide 13
I wore a pair of Guide 13s for years and they were my favorite shoes I've ever run in. They finally wore out so I bought a pair of Guide 18. First, in the Guide 13, I wore a 10.5 regular width; I had to go with 11.5 wide in the Guide 18 to fit properly. After my first 2.5-mile run in these, my foot hurt so badly I couldn't walk right for 3 days. It's a shame they changed the design so much in the past few years. Hopefully it works great for most folks, but if you wore the Guide 13, this may not be the one for you anymore.

The Buckleys of Shoes, Looks Awful But It Works
4 Stars for being fairly comfy and supportive, but loses 2 because my girlfriend said she would be embarrassed to be seen with me in public while wearing them since the design is very ugly...what were they thinking with the designs since Guide 14. The 14 and before look sharp and classy. The new design looks pretty bad from the side. Lost another star for declining to post my previous review.

Saucony is not Hoka
The Guide has been my go to shoe for many years. Along the way there have been many changes some good some meh. This version has been the worst I have ever experienced. It is like having a Hoka Bondi knock off.
