QST 106 Ski blends playful float, stability, and smooth control for freeride versatility

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

“After testing the QST 106 in everything from deep powder days to sketchy, variable snow, I can confidently say these skis live up to the hype. They’re playful, surfy, and light enough to tour with, but still feel super stable when charging hard. The poplar woodcore and basalt-fiberglass laminate give it that perfect balance between liveliness and dampness, and the cork damplifier in the tips keeps things smooth when the snow gets choppy.”

Who It’s For

Advanced Freeride Skiers Seeking Versatility:

The QST 106 is for riders who want a one-ski quiver for powder, big lines, and mixed conditions. Best suited for confident skiers who chase fresh snow but still need stability on tracked-out terrain or firm sections.

What It’s For

Powder Play and All-Mountain Freeride:

With a 106mm waist and rocker/camber/rocker profile, the QST 106 thrives in deep snow while staying versatile enough for variable conditions. From tree runs to open bowls, it offers a balanced ride that pivots easily, floats smoothly, and holds confidently on edge.

Why We Like It

Surfy, Stable, and Smooth in Any Condition:

We like the QST 106 because it delivers that rare mix of float and stability. The poplar core and basalt-fiberglass laminates keep it energetic yet damp, while the cork damplifier smooths out choppy snow. It’s a ski that makes powder playful and rough conditions fun.

Solid as ever, and more stable!

I felt right at home on this new 106. The QST 106 (Orange) has been my daily driver for several years, and I love this update. It has the same predictable, comfortable feel, but even more damp and stable. I'll be spending a lot of time on these!
