Here's what customers have to say
The trail running shoe provides a comfortable, secure fit with good cushioning and excellent traction, making it suitable for both trail runs and hikes. It is lightweight and responsive, with a stable midsole and grippy outsole that performs well on a variety of terrain, though it may be less suitable for wet, rocky conditions. Overall, the shoe is a well-rounded option that many users are satisfied with, though it may not be the best choice for those who frequently encounter challenging terrain.

best shoe for the Canadian rockies
1st season on these and they've been insane for durability and comfort for the harsh rockies rock, the first shoe I've had that hasn't fallen apart in a month and is super comfy for long or short days

Great shoes!
I'm getting ready to order my THIRD pair. The comfort is great, really nice looking and I have well over 400 miles on these guys and they feel like I can get some more. These are so good I bought my wife a pair of the women's Genesis, which she loves.

An almost perfect all-mountain shoe
I have had this shoe for less than 100 miles and already put it through the ringer, running devil's path and the Great Range traverse. It holds its own on scrambly terrain and serious exposure on slippery northeast granite where you need confidence in your footing. This isn't a mega cushioned road shoe. You can feel the ground and know where your feet are. My only qualm is the lack of a rock plate. For a shoe so positioned as an all-around trail shoe for technical terrain, the lack of a rock film of any kind really hampers the distances you can take it on true mountain runs.

Sole separations
I love these shoes, fit versatility is as advertised. Unfortunately I rate as a 2 star because after really about 10 wears the tread sole is beginning to separate from the sole, only had the shoes since April. Thinking of getting pair but it scares me.

Versatile and comfortable!
After researching various trail running shoes I landed on the Genesis and am very happy with my purchase! I'm training for my first 50k and needed something durable but comfortable for the long-haul. I'm here after two runs (7 miles & 17 miles) both on trails and was pleased with how they helped me crush my training goals! Many more runs to come! Note they have a more standard fit toebox.

Great trail running/hiking shoes!
These are some of the most comfortable and well made trail shoes I have had. I find them true to size and wide enough in the forefoot to not feel constricting.

Super slippery on rocky surfaces!!
I have two pairs of trail running shoe and have no problem when I were wearing the other pair of trail running shoes ran on wet rocky surface terrain, but it was totally different situation when I ran with Salomon Genesis. If trail in your home town contain a lot of rocky surfaces terrain, definitely don't recommend this shoe!! And the fast lacing system will get loose after a long period of time of running.

Great shoe
This is the first shoe I've bought multiples of. It's got a winning blend of being reasonably light, comfortable, feeling secure underfoot, and stability. Some folks gripe about the quicklace system but it works well for me.

Everything I’ve come to expect from Solomon
These shoes were a nice change from the speed cross which were a little bit too solid for me. These give fantastic support -especially on side to side movement- and a more cushioning while still feeling responsive for more technical runs.

Salomon are great shoes!
I rarely leave reviews, but I had to make an exception for this line of shoes. From the moment I slipped them on, I could tell they were something special. The comfort is unmatched, no break in period, no blisters, just pure support and softness right out of the box. I've worn them for long walks, daily errands, travel, work, workouts you name it! I’ve got several different pairs for what I may be doing. They’ve honestly made a huge difference in my day to day comfort. The quality is outstanding. Even after the beating I give each pair. I get compliments all the time and people are always asking where I got them. I recommend Salomon to anyone and everything. If you're on the fence just do it, it’s an investment in your feet. You won’t regret it. These shoes have become my go to, and I’ll definitely be buying more pairs
