Dialogue Lace SJ BOA Snowboard Boot blends traditional lacing with Boa heel hold for freestyle precision

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"I really like how these boots combine classic laces with the BOA Str8jkt system. I can dial in the lace tension exactly where I want it, and the BOA heel harness completely eliminates heel lift. They’re responsive but not overly stiff, and the liner molds perfectly for all-day comfort. For me, it’s the best of both worlds—customizable fit with solid support."

The Salomon Dialogue Lace SJ BOA Snowboard Boot is built for riders who crave both precision and versatility. By blending the timeless adjustability of traditional laces with the modern control of Salomon’s BOA-powered Str8jkt Pro heel harness, this boot locks us in with a custom fit that responds to freestyle riding and all-mountain missions alike.

Inside, the fully heat-moldable Response liner with Ultralon foam adapts to our unique foot shape, providing targeted support and comfort where we need it most. Quickdry insoles keep our feet fresh through back-to-back days, while Ortholite cushioning absorbs the impacts of big landings and long runs.

Underfoot, the DampLite+ sole combines lightweight EVA with Contagrip rubber for dependable traction on icy walkways and dampened feel on the board. With Fit To Ride construction reducing weight and bulk, this mid-flex boot strikes the balance between freedom and support—making it a go-to choice for riders who want performance without compromise.

Finally zero heel lift! Perfect boots

I struggled with finding the right boots for the last decade. I would have heel lift with everything. These Boots are absolutely perfect and eliminate all heel lift with the boa str8jkt. And the lace allows for tightening and loosening in different spots, perfect

Super comfortable!

These boots fit perfect and are comfortable all day long. They are more on the stiff side but still comfy. Definitely recommend these boots.

Softer than rated but overall a great boot

Overall this is a really nice boot, I've tried many boots and these have a really premium feel and construction that feels like it will last a long time. The str8jacket is my favorite part, does an excellent job of locking your heel down especially compared to some of the other boa mechanisms on the market. My only critique is that I do feel the boot is softer and more park oriented than its rated (more of a preference thing so not really worth losing a star). There is great board feel but very little dampening which feels like more of a park oriented trait. I dropped an aftermarket insole in and it defintely helped, but I still wish the tongue was a bit stiffer. If you lean toward being in the park a bit more than elsewhere on the mountain these are the best choice out there!

Great boot

Ridden in these for 60+ days this year and they've held up really well. I love the STR8JKT pro, it holds your heel down better than any other boot I've used. These boots are also very slim, it almost feels like I'm wearing a tennis shoe with these on, it really allows me to carve deeper and tweak grabs better as opposed to a chunky boot.

Solid, comfortable, warm

Wore them from dusk till dawn, snowboarding on the Laurentians. Was stable, comfortable, and warm all day. Just took a few runs to find the right amount of tightening.

Quality boot

I like the features on this boot. Comfortable liner with lots of toe space. Boot itself seems very durable and the flex is stiff, as described, but broke in nicely throughout the first day.

Great all around boot

Before the Dialogues, I had the Launchs- both great boots. Use them for everything, from riding in the park to touring the backcountry. Very comfortable and durable. This is my 7th season on Salomon boots. Highly recommend.
