Fantastic vest. Working towards a half marathon and needed some sort of hydration. This vest carries my phone and two small water bottles. For me it’s a game changer. Light weight, doesn’t move much and looks great.

Great running vest!
I purchased the ADV Skin 5 vest and have been using it to train for my half-marathon. It's been extremely comfortable to wear. Would highly recommend!

Chafes badly when running
I really want to love this vest. The flasks are great, and all the pockets are so useful. Unfortunately the material they use for the mesh layer is hard and scratchy. When running it chafes my neck, sides, and arms almost immediately. I’ve had to stop wearing tanks when running, which is extremely annoying when it’s hot out. I think this one is relegated to winter, and I’ll need to buy something else for the summer. Which is frustrating because it’s not cheap.

Works exactly as advertized
Bought this for a 100k trail race and to complement the 15L that I already had. THe pockets options work great, and the adjustability really tones in the fit. Overall an awesome pack!

Super Comfortable and Holds Plenty
I wear this for long hikes and trail runs and it's so perfect. I have no complaints, it's very adjustable to fit just right, can hold plenty of water, and expandable to hold more than you'd ever need in a day. And when it's empty except for water it still fits perfectly snug and is quite comfortable. Perfect for any distance a day or less.

Pushed to the Limits
I’m not usually one to write reviews, but thought I had to for extenuating circumstances. I have had this vest for a long time and have ran several ultras with it and love it. Yesterday, I went for a run in the summer heat and when I got home I left it sitting on the back of my Jeep to dry overnight. This morning when I left for work, I did not, in fact, remember that the vest was on my car. I did, in fact, remember about halfway through a 12 hour nursing shift. When I got off of work I retraced my route and luckily found it sitting in the middle of a BUSY road. The vest had to have gotten run over THOUSANDS of times throughout the day, and with the exception of the front zipper being slightly busted, it is in perfect condition. Thanks Salomon for creating such an amazing product! Pretty insane durability there.

nice design but quality needs work
received this as a gift and the vest is designed well overall, and is nice that it comes with flasks included - not the most intuitive pocket design though, and no central descriptions of the pockets. the main issue is that after just one singular use, one of the flask pockets ripped (see photos) - the bottom of the pocket came undone, which isn’t a terribly difficult problem to fix, but given the price point i would expect more durability

Excellent
I've always had issues with chafing while wearing hydration vests. The ADV skin 5 is tight but not restrictive, very comfortable, and no chafing.

They ruined it
I have an older version that is good. Bought a new one to try, and they completely ruined the hose routing. It's pretty much unusable.

Great Hydration Bag for Runners
