Missing the Details

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

The bag does what it says...it can carry your dog. However, you can tell this bag was designed by people who dont really design gear for people. The hip straps land at my rib cage and I am a normal sized person. There are no external pockets or places to carry say a water bottle. I don't see how you could do a significant hike with this pack as you literally can only carry your pup. Side note, i will be discontinuing using backcountry after this experience. There is now a checkbox for "worry free delivery..." which means if you have a delivery issue backcountry is no longer responsible and they use a third party insurer to deal with the mess that is shipping. Backcountry was downright unfriendly in trying to deal with some shipping issues and I will direct my business elsewhere.
