Gran Tourer XC Lace Cycling Shoe blends classic laces with modern off-road tech
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I love the lace-up version of the Gran Tourer XC—simple, secure, and super comfortable. The carbon-composite sole gives me the stiffness I need on hard efforts, and the rubber toe cap is a lifesaver on rocky hike-a-bike sections. It’s got old-school looks with new-school performance."
We lace up the QUOC Gran Tourer XC Lace Cycling Shoe when we want the technical performance of a race-ready off-road shoe paired with the timeless feel of a traditional lace-up. Whether it’s gravel grinds, XC race day, or an ultra-distance adventure, this shoe handles it all with a smooth blend of comfort and durability.
Underfoot, a carbon-composite sole and integrated TPU tread deliver efficient power transfer and sure-footed grip. The abrasion-resistant microfiber upper molds to the foot over time, while padded heel cushioning and a gusseted tongue enhance comfort on all-day missions. Add in custom-fit arch inserts and a rubber toe cap for rugged protection, and this shoe becomes a reliable partner for any off-pavement pursuit.

Beautiful Looking but Runs Short
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
Quite honestly, these are the most beautiful cycling shoes I've had since the blue leather Marresi ones I owned in the mid-80's. The fit of these, however, doesn't work for me. The width is great throughout but the shoe runs short. I typically wear a 45.5 in Lakes and a 46 in Specialized, Shimano, Adidas and Bont and all of their lengths work for my feet. As soon as I put this Quoc on, I could feel my toes touching the end of the shoe. I removed the insole and overlaid it onto my Specialized one and there is an approx. quarter-inch difference. Now, I've seen reviews on other sites where the user fits the shoe fit and they rave about its stiffness and good looks. I'm jealous of them because they shoe fits them well. Like I said, the shoe is beautiful looking. Its fit just doesn't work for me.
