Cinturato EVO tire offers all-weather grip, comfort, and puncture protection

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"I put these on my endurance road bike and they’ve been unreal in wet or rough conditions. The SmartEVO AS compound feels smooth without sacrificing grip, and the TechWALL+ casing has held up over big miles without a single puncture. They’re my go-to tire when I don’t want to think twice about conditions."

We trust the Pirelli Cinturato EVO when our road rides demand comfort, confidence, and consistency in any condition. Built for endurance, this tubeless-ready tire features the SmartEVO AS compound, a performance rubber blend derived from motorsport tech and bio-based and recycled materials. Whether we’re hammering out base miles or pushing through sketchy weather, this compound grips the road with unwavering control while reducing vibrations for a smooth, planted ride.

Underneath, the TechWALL+ Road casing pairs a 60tpi fabric with multi-layer reinforcement to boost puncture resistance without compromising rolling speed. It installs easily, holds air reliably, and delivers durability across rough pavement, chipseal, and wet descents. From the weekday training ride to big-mile epics, the Cinturato EVO rolls smooth, grips hard, and stands up to the demands of all-season riding.

Tire fits VERY VERY tight.

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I bought a pair of the 32 mm EVOs. Despite many years as a rider and having changed tires countless times, I had extreme difficulty mounting the EVOs on my Bontrager Aeolus Pro 37 TLR wheels. First, tires had a "hop" because the bead tended not to expand on the wheel. After deflating, moving the tire around re-inflating, the tire expanded enough for the bead to seat in the wheel. On the next tire, I broke 2 tire levers trying to install it. I nearly gave up before finally getting the tire on the wheel. Then I discovered that I had damaged the rim strip tape with the levers so I'm off to the shop tomorrow to get the wheel retapped. If I'm having this much trouble dealing with the tire in my shop where I have a comfortable place to work, I can't imagine dealing with this out on the road if I had a flat and needed to replace a tube. I will be returning these and going back to the Cinurato Velos.
