Super cute works great

I love the look a feel of this rain jacket. I live in the PNW so it will get a lot of use! I only wish the pockets were lined

Definitely Keeps You Dry

I purchased this Aspire 3L rain jacket for a recent 10 day trip to Alaska as my previous rain jacket (not OR brand) was 10 years old and NOT rain resistant anymore. The weather for the trip was more or less misty/foggy with some moderate rain at times and the temperatures were low 50's. The jacket, layered with a puffy jacket, was very comfortable and kept me dry. There is a previous review where a person stated the jacket "pockmarked" when it got wet. Yes this jacket did that too BUT the "pockmarks" did not stay as it rained and they also disappeared when the jacket dried. We did several hikes with the jacket on with just a t-shirt underneath and got a tad warm but cooled down fairly quickly upon opening the pit zips. I appreciate the ability to unzip the sides of the jacket for this purpose but also unzip the jacket from the bottom sides as well, should I need to access pockets and what have you. Now the not so good....During our trip I wore a small Camelbak Pak for carrying small things like gloves, hat, etc and I noticed that the pack has actually chaffed the jacket and caused some unsightly pilling and this is in just the first week of owning the jacket. Now I don't expect to have to wear this jacket every time I hike, but I do worry that over time, wearing a pack with this jacket will eventually wear holes in the material. I guess I expected better quality in this aspect. (Excuse the color variation in the photos as this is from the camera and lighting) Hopefully OR can come up with some type of fix for their materials in the future. Overall, I love this jacket as it was comfortable, kept me dry in all rain conditions and packs well when not needed.

Amazing jacket

I love OR and their lifetime warranty. This jacket is high quality and comfortable. I sized up for layering, as I purchased it to use both as a rain jacket and a shell for in-bounds uphill skiing. The waist cinch only runs halfway on the bottom due to the side zippers, but that’s my only true complaint.

Wonderful waterproofing!

I used this jacket on a month long canoe trip and it was a life saver!!! Most effective waterproofing I’ve had, and very breathable. Kept me very dry and the slight stretch and generous roominess of the design made it perfect for layering.

You want this rain jacket

The day after I received this OR rain jacket, I put it to the true test! I was participating in a 4 day outdoor event on the shores of Lake Superior. For those who don't know, Lake Superior can get moody and she certainly was this time. This jacket not only kept me completely dry, the lightweight material made it easy to toss it on quickly when each round of storms came through. The material breathes well and I never felt clammy or hot when running around. An added bonus is that it looks great!

April Showers Brings Beautiful May Flowers

Great rain shell! Got it in Harbor, nice deep color. It's a hard shell, sensible, sturdy, and well constructed. It'll stuff easily and the side zips are perfect for those mixed weather days. I'll be using w additional under layers come winter. Thumbs up OR 👍

Works Well

I like this jacket except that I never put it on or take it off without wishing there was a velcro tab near the top of the collar so I could hang it up without it wanting to slide off the hanger.
