Numeric Andrew Reynolds 933 blends classic running aesthetics with modern skate performance and impact protection
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"This shoe brings the best of New Balance’s running heritage to skateboarding. The Abzorb cushioning keeps my feet feeling fresh after long sessions, while the cupsole design balances board feel with impact protection. The multi-panel upper has that classic '90s runner vibe, but it’s built tough to handle grinds, flips, and heavy landings. Whether I’m skating all day or just kicking back, the 933 delivers on comfort and style."
Merging iconic running-inspired aesthetics with high-performance skateboarding tech, the New Balance Numeric Andrew Reynolds 933 is a true game-changer. Inspired by the legendary 990 series, this shoe offers a multi-paneled upper with an old-school runner-style toe that oozes '90s vibes. But beyond the throwback look, it’s packed with modern performance features designed to handle the demands of skateboarding.
At the heart of the 933 is New Balance’s Abzorb cushioning, delivering premium impact protection while maintaining excellent board feel. The cupsole construction is thinner at the toe for precise control and thicker at the heel for shock absorption, making it a go-to choice for high-impact skating. A stacked heel design reminiscent of the 993’s Abzorb DTS cushioning enhances comfort, while a potential FuelCell midsole element hints at added support and energy return. Whether you're hitting the streets or just appreciating a well-crafted sneaker, the Andrew Reynolds 933 delivers in both function and style.

Here's what customers have to say
The shoe offers a mix of positive and negative feedback. Many users praise its style, quality, and comfort, describing it as a great option for skating and everyday wear. However, a significant number report issues with the fit, noting the shoe runs narrower than expected, even in the wide sizes. Several customers had to return the shoes due to the tight, uncomfortable fit, with some mentioning inconsistent sizing compared to other New Balance models. While the positive reviews highlight the product's strengths, the fit and sizing problems seem to be a common concern that prevents some users from fully enjoying the shoe.

Beautiful Looking Shoe but NOT WIDE as Described
Unfortunately what they call wide is not wide enough, it is tight on the front toe area and the sides, I was really looking forward to trying out something different from VANS. Hopefully they will figure it out since I see many other complaints on same thing.

Fresh kicks.
Really impressed with the quality. The color scheme makes it perfect to match with anything. The shoes fit well im a 9.5 and that's exactly what I got. I really like the brown leather detail. They match well with dress pants and jeans.

Narrow
I bought wide and it’s still narrow. I have never purchased wide shoes before, so I would consider this significant.

Perfection (almost)
Excellent shoe for both skating and wearing. Overall quality feels top notch and you can really tell that a ton of technology went in to crafting the sole in terms of how it absorbs impact, how comfortable it is and how it grips your heel. They're stiff out of the box and takes breaking in before I could skate them. My only gripe is that the mesh on the medial side of the opening either is or has broken apart on both my pairs (I have both the brown and yellow colorway) even though I only skate one of my pairs. still fully worth it. great deal. great shoe

looks great but way too tight
loved everything about the 933 except that the shoe was very narrow. even though i bought it in a 2e, it was too tight. I wear a 2E in my 990 v6, 480 (3x pair), 440 and 574 but this shoe was way too tight. since it doesnt come in a 4e, i am returning tomorrow. too bad since it is a great looking shoe.

All around great
incredibly comfy and supportive straight out of the box, even better after breaking them in.

lol
Cmon , heavy price for a shoe that won’t last a month if you actually skate them. But new balance is a brand everyone . Good job “ Reynolds” you’ve convinced everyone

Looks great but very uncomfortable.
Bought this shoe a month ago. Looks awesome but very uncomfortable to wear. I’m reading comments on sizing up. While that may help with the intense snug, the sole was made too hard, and it doesn’t fold when walking. I’m hoping it may loosen up a bit with a bit of wear. Not too optimistic tbh.

Heavy, stiff and narrow
The NB Numeric 933 looks great and is built really well, but they’re heavy, stiff and narrow. The lack of board feel makes them hard to skate in despite the solid craftsmanship.
