Here's what customers have to say
The shoes offer a comfortable and durable design, with good arch support and cushioning. However, some customers report issues with the fit, noting that the shoes run narrow despite being marketed as a wide version. Customers may need to order a full size up to achieve a comfortable fit, and those with wider feet may struggle to find the right size. The soles also appear to wear out quickly for a few users.

NB Numeric 440v2 — Female Beginner Skater (2yrs)
I switched to the 440v2 after loving the Jamie Foy 306s for daily wear and skating 3–5 days/week. The 306s were insanely comfy out of the box, but my front-foot sole wore thin by month 4 and had a big hole by month 5. I wanted something with more cushioning and shock absorption to ease the impact on my knees, so I tried the 440v2. Looks & build: Mostly black suede with yellow-ochre details—clean and sharp. They sit a bit taller than the 306s. Laces are sturdy and lock the foot down, yet I can still slip them on/off without untying (handy in Hawaiʻi where shoes come off indoors). Fit & break-in: I’m a women’s 8.5 / men’s 7 here (one full size up from many of my other shoes), partly for a roomier toe box and partly due to availability—many skate shops don’t stock much in my women’s size range. Out of the box they felt narrow and stiff, especially around the ankles. Break-in took about a month; they’re loosening up, though the collar still digs a bit under my ankle after long wear. Overall fit now feels relaxed with better lateral/ankle stability than my 306s. Traction & feel: The outsole is super grippy when new—great on wet or smooth surfaces. I can jog down the wet incline at the skatepark with confidence. On a spotless dance floor they felt almost too sticky, but on a slightly slick/“drink-spilled” surface the grip felt perfect. Impact protection feels similar to the 306s; I may add insoles for extra cushioning on landings. Durability (TBD): The big question is outsole life. If these outlast the ~5 months I got from the 306s, the 440v2 becomes my default re-up. If not, I’ll go back to the Jamie Foy 306s for that unbeatable out-of-the-box comfort. Bottom line: Better aesthetics, stronger ankle stability, great traction, and a longer break-in. If you’re a newer skater looking for a supportive, locked-in feel and can tolerate a month of breaking in, the 440v2 is a strong pick—especially if the soles prove more durable. If they don’t, I’m back to the Jamie Foy 306s.

Not recommended, constricts your toes.
Product likely to induce bunions. Narrow toe box despite product description. I would like to return them.

Narrow
Very narrow, even went 1/2 size up and wide fitting, too narrow for me, returned for a refund, would have been a great purchase otherwise

Great shoe
I really like the shoe. It fits well and is quite comfortable. I don't like the color as much as I thought I would, but not a big deal.

EE was not the same as in NB running shoes
EE is narrower in skate shoes than running shoes. BUT… the shoes looked great. I was looking forward to finding a NB bicycle commuting shoes but not this time.

Amazing perfect width
I'm stoked on the fact that these fit my foot very well! I have a wider foot than most so I unfortunately cannot wear most shoes without buying them in wide and these fit me perfectly! Love em if you'd like to see me unbox them, skate in them and what not feel free to checkout my YouTube channel goofyskatinglifestyle

Ouch, my feet!
If these are wide shoes, I'd hate to feel the regular narrow shows. I've never had the misfortune of having my feet clamped in a vise but I have to imagine it would feel fairly similar to what I experienced with these shoes. Seriously, they were SO TIGHT! They do look great, though.

Wide and stylish
I was a bit cautious since I wear a 2D Wide size and these only came in Wide, well they fit great, look great, and are very stylish.
