Here's what customers have to say
The sleeping pad offers excellent comfort, warmth, and lightweight design. It features a 3.5-inch thickness for cushioning and support, even for side sleepers. The included inflation bag makes setup quick and easy, and the quiet, non-crinkly fabric is appreciated. The high R-value of 5.5 keeps users warm in cold temperatures, and the compact, lightweight design is ideal for backpacking. The pad has generally held up well to rugged use, with only a few reports of minor issues.

Excited to use it!
I have only tried it out at home so far but it is far more comfortable than any other pad I have had. It comes with a bag pump, but I personally thought blowing it up by mouth was far more efficient and then you can drop a few ounces for the pack.

The pad you will eventually own.
After owning many pads from all the major brands, I have finally found the one for me. I tend to toss and turn between side, stomach, and back sleeping. The All-Season Tensor's thickness and quiet fabric made these movements comfortable for me and quiet for my campmates. The real test was having my dog camp with me, who tends to sleep at my feet. His nails didn't puncture the pad, and "wide" options gave him plenty of room to share it with me.

Tensor All-Season is a Great Pad
I've had a couple tensors and just got this one. It's just as comfortable as the others. The valve on this one seems a little beefier than the first one. It's easier to grasp and get it open. Kept me comfy and warm, and I'm sure it will continue to do so for many nights to come.

Light & Small but Valve Deflates; Easily Punctures
My family owns 2 (silver / grey top) regular Tensor All-Season Ultralight Insulated Sleeping Pads and 5 (Yellow top) 2022 gen 1 regular Tensor Ultralight Insulated Sleeping Pads. We have used these sleeping pads on single and multi-day bike pack trips, backcountry camping, canoe trips, winter camping, and hunting trips from Northern Alberta, Canada to Death Valley CA, USA. We have used them in tents with a ground sheet, on cots, and bivy sacs, never once directly on the ground or without ground protection. These sleeping pads have failed me and deflated more times than they have been successfully used. The 1st gen 2022 (Yellow top) regular Nemo Tensor Insulated Sleeping Pads are very light, inflate and deflate very quickly and are small to pack, where the pads fail is the very thing bottom and top fabric of only 20-denier polyester which makes them highly susceptible to punctures and ultimately a deflated pad. Yes, it comes with a patch kit, good luck finding a pin hole leak at 3:00 am inside a bivy sac or a full tent. The 2 gen (Yellow top) regular Nemo Tensor Trail Insulated Sleeping Pads are a slightly more robust with 40-denier polyester bottom and 20-denier polyester top as are the (silver / grey top) regular Tensor All-Season Ultralight Insulated Sleeping Pads. Nemo replaced under warranty 2 of my 1st gen 2022 (Yellow top) regular Nemo Tensor Insulated Sleeping Pads with 2 of the (silver / grey top) regular Tensor All-Season Ultralight Insulated Sleeping Pads (easy process). However, all of the pads have failed and deflated as a result of the silicone umbrella valve. Nemo will mail you a fist full of replacement umbrella valves (easy process). The ongoing issue I encounter is that any bit of feather down, dust or grit readily sticks to the silicone umbrella valve, or the walls of the valve plug and prevents a good seal from occurring. The solution is to clean the umbrella valve and entire assembly before every single time you sleep on the pad; oh joy, what fun that is every time. The umbrella valves on the 1st gen 2022 (Yellow top) regular Nemo Tensor Insulated Sleeping Pads have an arrowhead shaped steam which makes it super easy to remove and reinstall. The (silver / grey top) regular Tensor All-Season Ultralight Insulated Sleeping Pads have an umbrella valve steam has a rounded ball tip and it is not at all easy to reinstall if you remove it to clean it (a real PITA). I have zero interest in additional Nemo replacement pads, as the failures and deflated pads have just continued even with the warranty replacement pads. I have switched brands, never again to sleep on the cold ground because of a poorly designed Nemo Tensor. Who am I and do I know what I’m doing? Well, I’ve worked as a Backcountry Ranger in British Columbia, a Conservation Officer in Alberta, and as a hunting guide in Alberta, Canada. I have a diploma in Recreation, Fish & Wildlife, Certificate of Specialization in Fish & Wildlife Technology and a B.Sc. in Environmental Science. In short, I’ve spent a lot of time camping and working in the backcountry and using gear that I need to rely on, and I can’t rely on Nemo sleeping pads.

Super Comfortable!
I bought this to replace an older Thermorest pad I have had for a long time. Absolutely love it! It is much more comfortable and so light! I volunteer in search and Rescue, so I am in the mountains a lot. This is now part of my essential gear I keep in my pack. I am thinking about getting another for Winter since I end up spending a lot of nights in the snow doinging all night rescues.

Super Comfortable
Got 2 new pads to upgrade both mine and my wife's from some older model Thermarest pads and we were both more than happy with this product. 3.5 inches of padding is a comfortable amount and I slept great. Im a clod sleeper at a baseline so the warmer R value is better for me. The new Vortex fill bag system is super slick as well and makes blowing up the pad very simple and quick.

No complaints yet
Recently purchased, so I only have one 3 night trip with the regular wide pad. First impressions, light weight, small pack size, easy to inflate and (my favorite feature) it doesn't sound like you're sleeping on a bag of Doritos! Slept on a relatively bumpy surface one of the night and you wouldn't have known it with the pad. Can't wait for the next trip with a good night sleep!

Great pad.
Love this pad. This is my go to for light carry backpacking trips. I got the wide long, which is perfect for me. 6’-0” 190lbs. the R value is legit. I don’t ever get cold, but I also use this with my 15 degree NEMO Disco bag with a liner, so it would have to be really cold to notice which product was doing the best job. All NEMO products are the best. Keep up the good work!

February 23, 2022
hello, For the isolated version, on the US site, the R-VALUE is 4.2 while the EU site is 3.5 for the same weight. Is it a mistake ? What is the correct value? Thank you for your answers.

Hi, I had asked how the durability of the new fabric compares to the old, but my question disappeared without being answered. I am asking due to durability issues I experienced with past tensor iterations, but would be interested if this were improved.

Thanks for upping the R-value of the new insulated wide to 4.2! It might eliminate the need for me to carry an additional foam pad in winter. Same ? re: new one: Is the website wrong about the width of the new insulated wide being only 20”?
