Best Sun Hoodie Ever

On my second MHW Crater Lake Sun Hoodie. It is my go-to piece for hiking in Colorado. Easily the best sun hoodie I have ever owned. The OR Echo is a shade lighter and would be preferable for extremely hot conditions. But, I like the fit of the Crater Lake better and think it’s slightly more versatile. I wear a Small and am 5’9/140lbs, for reference.

Great sun hoodie with some minor complaints

So far, I have used this shirt twice and it has performed well. I live and recreate in an alpine environment (6,000-12,000 ft typically). This shirt has is very light weight and breathable, but does a great job protecting me from the sun. It is also a the softest sun shirt that I have owned and is overall very comfortable to wear. My only complaints are the hoods neck and the thumb holes. The section of the hood that covers the front of your neck, just underneath your chin is a little restrictive. I have a larger Adams apple which rubs against the fabric and can be a bit uncomfortable at times. I have an REI Sahara sun shirt that is split at this area with overlapping pieces of fabric to ensure coverage and it is a much more comfortable fit. Second, the thumb holes are split horizontally rather than vertically, which creates good coverage but causes the fabric to bunch up which can be mildly uncomfortable. Other than those two complaints, I really like the shirt and it has performed well. I definitely recommend it. For reference, I bought a large and am 6'3" and weigh 170lbs.

I have been wearing it for two months and I like it. I like the fit, it protects my skin from sun as expected. The only two things that I don't like it's neck attached to the hood it makes you look like you wearing a hijab and material that pills to easily.

Will be buying in more colors

Great Shirts, poor shipping practice

I love this shirt. I am tall and it covers my hands when needed. The.hood easily covers a ball cap making it very shady. I am unhappy that they could not be shipped to my home on Salt Spring Island. This is the only company that I have dealt with that could not.

Well worth the money, when on sale.

This UV hoodie is very comfortable and does a nice job keeping the sun off, even during the hottest part of the day. I am able to work outside longer by keeping the sun’s rays off my skin. The only drawback is that the hoodie takes forever to dry. Definitely not a dealbreaker by any means but I would have thought the material would dry quicker hanging on a hanger. The only dealbreaker is paying full price. When these go on sale then it is well worth the money to purchase a couple.

Buttery Soft.

Took it on a 3 day backpacking trip to the Eastern Sierra's. Shirt has a buttery feel. I did learn that mosquitos can still bite you thru it ;) My back got lit up, but perfect for sun coverage and light base layer.
