They need to stop using cheap materials!
I was really excited was really exited when I got this. It needs another door with screen mesh window in the back , so you can set it up in the wind and extend the season in warmer weather. The zippers on this tent are made of plastic. Ykk sno ,they wear out really fast and are garbage . When I let mountain hardware know my tent did not last the trip they did not contact me back about how to proceed with warranty. This is not a 4 season tent it does not have a rain fly. The vestibule does not have ripstop for the pole it’s a little better than a contractor garbage bag with same zippers(ykk sno plastic garbage) Mountain hardware used to be a good company for an 1100 dollar tent it should be made with metal zippers, 2 doors, rain fly with “actual” ripstop, and more clips/ loops on the inside to hang stuff. The vestibule needs a flap over the zipper. A eureka timberline 2 makes a compatible rain fly. I really wish these guys would get there act together. I’m still wearing my mountain hardware fleece from 20+ years ago. They are running there company into the ground.

Hearty Material yet Light and Packable
Great tent overall. Quick set up and breakdown. Used it on a glacier for a climbing trip and did wonderfully. I bought the vestibule and it covered my 100L duffel just fine. While most tents take up space when packing this is nearly the opposite as it packs down super small even with the vestibule. Certainly a tight squeeze for two but will work for a bivy tent (I would recommend the vestibule if that is the case). Perfect for a lightweight one person with some space on the sides.

Bomber as expected
Small, but packs down small. Withstood 30+ mph winds fine. Not luxury, but very bomber. Like the fact that I didn’t have to seam seal this tent as with some other brands I’ve owned.

Solid single-wall tent
We left this tent set up at the base of a Himalayan wall at 4500m in late october when a storm rolled in and made us retreat to basecamp. Despite heavy snows and wind, when we returned 4 days later it was exactly as we left it and in great shape. This tent strikes a great balance between weight, durability, and versatility (especially when paired with the vestibule). The one con is that the ventilation could be better and sometimes the breath condenses on the inside in cold temperatures.

legit bomber tent
i really have been happy with this tent so far. haven’t gotten it into single digits yet. been using it as single person and it works flawlessly. fast setup maybe take 10mins going at a slow pace otherwise you could probably pitch this tent in 5mins or less. the construction is top notch. just a very high quality tent everywhere you look. ventilation isn’t bad for one person but for two you better hope it’s windy. regardless it’s holds it own well and form factor and size is very convenient. also the foot print works well with it and is very handy to have since it packs small and doesn’t weight much.
