Why We Like The Mammut Stoney HS Thermo Hooded Jacket
Mammut revamped their best-selling hardshell to deliver a sustainably made version: The Stoney HS Thermo Hooded Jacket. The recycled fabrication keeps waste out of landfills, while the enhanced pattern further reduces material waste in production, lightening our carbon footprint even more. But rest assured, the performance isn't lacking. The Mammut DRY Tour membrane and zoned insulation shut out the snow and the cold, keeping us cozy dry underneath, while the X-vented underarms let us dump building heat when we're charging hard.

Best jacket I have had. Warm and not too bulky or big. Vents make it great for warmer conditions as well.

Great winter shell
I purchased this to go back country skiing and in bounds skiing this past season. I loved it. It is light, somewhat packable, and has great waterproofing qualities. The thing I would improve would be the packability of it in a backpack when the day gets warm.

Best snowboard jacket I’ve owned
This jacket crushes it on the mountain. Super comfortable, great fit, and it looks clean—but what really sold me is how it handles nasty weather. I’ve ridden in rain, sleet, and brutal wind and stayed totally warm and dry. I don’t like wearing a bunch of layers, so the insulated (down) version is perfect—it keeps me warm no matter the conditions. The pockets are also super well-designed—plenty of space and easy to access everything I need without digging around. Easily my go-to jacket for any day on the hill.

High quality construction and toatally waterproof. The down version is great because it gives you extra warmth in peak season and you can unzip the vents in early and late season

Great fit and construction
This jacket fits great and is well designed. It kept me warm and dry when the snow ended up being rain for the day.

Solid insulated ski jacket
This jacket has surpassed my expectations. It's very high quality, fits well and looks good. Functionality is great, lots of pocket, pit zips, snow skirt you name it. Nothing missing. I've used this jacket for low intensity ski touring and resort skiing. It's warm enough and works with layering. This is now my go-to jacket for resort skiing and light aerobic winter activity.

Great jacket

I really like how warm the jacket is. I am not the guy who likes to ski or ride with 5 layers on to stay warm. This is why I like the thermo. I undo the pit zips when I am hot. The only complaint I have is that it is hard to get the zipper lined up to zip it up. Once its on I am set.
