Why We Like The Dyneema Contact Sling

Mammut works hard each year to make its Dyneema Contact Sling lighter without taking away any of its strength. Like most slings, Mammut made it out of super strong and light Dyneema, but unlike most slings, Mammut's Contact stitching technique ensures optimum handling and strength throughout the sling, even in the seam area. This makes it ready to please you whether you're sending sandstone, climbing crack, cranking ice, or alpine climbing your way to the top.

Nice and Skinny, odd length?

Good dynema sling I often use to extend pieces trad climbing, its just an odd length, instead of a standard single (like you find on most alpine draws) this sling is a few centimeters longer so fits a bit different on the harness. Can be nice at times when the anchor building gets weird!

Great Slings

All my slings were getting pretty old and decided to get new ones. I like the mammut brand because of how the sling is stitched together- smooth transition.

Quality finish, solid product

Another great Mammut product. It is exactly what you would expect. A well built, quality sling that will last a long time if treated properly. Great price and will definitely be buying some more in various lengths.

Default Alpine Sling

Best of the products I've used and tested for trad/alpine slings & anchors. They are light weight, supple, and the sewing point isn't bulky.

The best of the best for alpine draws

Contact sling are becoming synonymous with trad climbing. I don't think I would make another alpine draw out of any other sling. It is so light the bar tack rarely gets snagged. best sling for alpine draws. I have made a quad out of the 180 which is nice but those knot are difficult to get out.
