Voyageur Hiking Shoe

Hiking with the Keen Women's Voyageur Hiking Shoes on is like opening the windows and letting cool, fresh air into your stuffy apartment. Unlike many supportive hiking shoes that feel hot and stifling on summer days, the Voyageur Shoes' mesh linings provide breathability for your feet. The ESS shanks on these Keens provide torsional stability as you breeze down the trail, and aggressive 4mm lugs grip rough terrain.

Here's what customers have to say

The shoes are praised for their exceptional comfort, support, and durability, with a wide toe box, excellent arch support, and ability to handle both casual and outdoor use. Customers highlight the shoes' breathability, water resistance, and lack of a break-in period. However, some note recent changes in fit and quality, with the new model feeling stiffer and running smaller. Overall, the shoes provide comfortable performance for a wide range of uses.

Quality varies

I had my first pair of these for about 18 months. After about a year the soles started coming apart. However, I just bought a new pair of the exact same shoe and 1 week after purchase the soles started coming apart. I wear these 5 days a week delivering mail in a rural area. They are comfortable but I am disappointed in the new pair.

Best hiking boots out there! (voyageur mid)

Can't find the listing for the voyageur mid boots with ankle support, but I'll leave my review here since they are similar -- they are the best hiking boots you can buy!!! I have had mine for 3 years, 300 miles of backpacking and 200ish miles of hiking. Finally retired them and just bought the same pair (photos for comparison). They have great support, are relatively light, extremely durable, pretty water resistant, and SO comfy. you will not regret buying these!!!! cannot stress how much I love these boots. My only tiny complaint is the length of laces and the eyelet for lacing up - I had the loops of my tied laces get caught a few times on the little eyelet hook of my other boot and fell or stumbled many times because of this. I rubber band the loose loops to the sole while hiking to avoid this.

Cute and comfortable!

So far, 3 small hikes in, these are great! I can actually feel the vented air. My toes are not cramped at all. I thought i might kick things more with my toes, but i do not. The tiny blue accents on the sole did peel off right away to reveal a light green color, but I don't really care about that. They'll get dirty and it won't matter.

Change in design?

I have loved the Keen Voyageur hiking boot. They are the perfect boot in every way for me. I own and currently use 3 pair. 2 pink and one blue. I use the 2 pink ones for walking/hiking and the other for yard work. I bought the blue pair specifically to use for my spinning bike. They seemed to be larger than the pink but am not using for walking so not as noticeable. They are so much bigger I could fit in an orthotic that I could not fit in the pink ones. Currently I'm retiring my yard work version and I needed to get another pair and wanted the pink but could find nowhere in my size even at Keen. So I ended up getting the blue and they are again TOO BIG!!??? They are different. This is very disappointing. I feel like Keen has been a consistent brand. I am really hoping Keen is not discontinuing and hoping they haven't changed the shoe. When looking online there are only blue ones for sale including used! No pink ones. What is going on??!!

Amazing shoes if they worked as expected.

I've had my Women's Targhee II Waterproof for almost 10 years and they've been amazing in every way, but the soles are finally falling apart. So, I bought these Women's Voyageurs. I brought them on a 26 mile hike, and they fit great, felt amazing, were manuvering rocks, snow, mud- everything until one eyelet for the left shoe laces busted on the 3rd day of owning them. I wasn't tightening them in a way that was unusual- it just popped. Not sure if that was just that pair of shoes or if the brand isn't what it used to be, but it was such a bummer. Had that eyelet/shoe functioned as expected, this would be a 5/5, easy. Just such a disappointment.

Voyager hikers

These are awesome! Best fit for my feet. I love how they break over at the toe when I’m walking. I do, however, replace the insoles with one that is best for my feet.

I want previous colors back!!!

I have a gray/green color and was going to get a new one with gray/pink color. BUT the color is not available anymore. Don't like the current color Keen is selling. Please bring the previous colors back!

My favorite!

These are my favorite shoes! I am on my fourth pair. I wear them everywhere-work, hiking, beach (they're like wearing off-roading tires in the sand-take that sandals!), even around the house to do chores.
