Love this jet boil, I keep one in my travel bag for work trips for coffee or hot water while in the back country for multiple days and I keep one in my backpacking gear for camping trips. Its light weight, easy to use and allows me to make coffee, hot water and multiple meals on the go. If you are starting out or looking for another set of gear I think this stove is perfect for every situation from car camping to backcountry.

So easy!
I love my jetboil it’s super easy to use and fairly lightweight. It’s nice that you can pack everything in the canister. I had the best mocha of my life courtesy of my jetboil over the weekend. It boils pretty fast which is nice when it’s cold and you’re hungry.

Best design on the market
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best design for a backpacking stove on the market. Love the slick and easy to assemble design. Boils water super quick and assembles/disassembles in seconds. Doesn't take much space in your backpack and is super light. Recommend for every backpack hunt.

The color changing indicator on the side makes this much easier to use. Easy to handle with boiling water inside. I like that you don't need a match to ignite- it's one less thing to worry about getting wet while packrafting.

too heavy and chunky for lightweight backpacking but I used constantly in my everyday rig. boils water fast but sips fuel unlike other brands love the boil indicator so you don't have to release the heat to check it.
