[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought the flash Java fast boil system in an effort to lighten my hunting pack and equipment needed. The ultra light design and compact unit helps me to add more impactful equipment needed for those long hunts especially like the rugged design the quick heating system so I’m able to recharge pack and get on with the hunt. I would highly recommend this and other jet systems for the avid outdoorsman.

Good coffee anywhere

I got tired of instant coffee. My morning cup in the backcountry is one of my favorite things. This made it quick and easy without a bunch of bulk or weight.

The Jetboil system works as described and is very convenient. It's a great option if you are just making dehydrated meals and coffee. On the flip side, there is the cost. I'm not sure that it provides that much more value than lower priced options. I've used it on one trip, and my opinion may change over time but for now I think cost is a negative factor.

The Perfect Coffee Companion for the Outdoors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I took the Jetboil Java 1.0 on my last camping trip, and it completely changed my morning routine outdoors. The setup was quick and easy. Within just a few minutes I had boiling water, and the French press attachment worked flawlessly. I was a little skeptical at first about how good the coffee would turn out in a camp setting, but it honestly tasted rich and smooth, just as good as what I would make at home. What I loved most was how efficient the system is. It boils water fast, packs down compactly, and the press feels sturdy. No mess, no fuss, just a hot cup of coffee while watching the sunrise in the mountains. For anyone who enjoys good coffee while hiking, backpacking, or camping, this is an absolute game changer. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who does not want to compromise on their coffee ritual while outdoors.

Does exactly what it should. Great for easy backpacking meals, bikepacking, really anything.

Fast coffee

Awesome product. Bought this for a camping trip and was able to make french press in 5 minutes or so start to finish with no grounds in the coffee. The spout works just fine as long as you pour quickly/aggressively. You can absolutely fill above the max water line - just turn off heat at first boil

First Time Owner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Reliable, compact and fast! First time user and we made tailgate coffee every morning on our recent 2 week Montana / Alberta hiking trip. Although I didn’t pack it on trail, it’s small and light so I would not hesitate to do so. Great product and did not disappoint!

Brewing on The Rubicon

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was finally able to take my Jeep out to California to drive the Rubicon Trail. I did a decent amount of research and knew I would be spending 2-3 nights on the trail. Knowing that I knew I would be making coffee on the trail and I also knew that there was a fire ban so I would need to bring my own way of cooking. This was the chose I made. 100% satisfied.
