200 Oasis Long Sleeve Crewe

Merino wool fibers are the perfect all-natural solution for keeping you comfortable when working up a sweat in cool weather. Soft, breathable, temp-regulating, and even odor-fighting, the Icebreaker Long-Sleeve 200 Oasis Crewe leverages merino wool's beneficial properties, along with smart design details, to optimize your comfort during cold-weather activities. The offset shoulder seams prevent pack rub when you're out exploring the backcountry, and the flatlock seams throughout the garment ensure you move comfortably through your day on the slopes or in the hills. Underarm gussets offer mobility as you pole plant or build an igloo for winter camp. The crew neck and slim fit allow for easy layering, and the drop-tail hem provides extra rear coverage for a worry-free fit.

perfect weight and fit

Loving the snug, but not quite base-layer, fit! I ordered a Small, and usually wear a Small in all tops (size 2-4). It's somewhere between a light and mid weight and I can wear it casually or while recreating. Very soft and the sleeves don't have those silly thumb holes!

Runs Small

I ordered a size up and the sleeves were still too short.

Perfect long sleeve base layer

This is the go to brand for my wife when it comes to merino wool. It works well as a base layer because it's breathable, kept her warm, and it did not irritate her skin. The merino wool worked well not retaining foul odors compared to other fabrics.

After reading about icebreaker, I decided to try one. I haven’t been able to even wear a Marino bowl next to my skin for a long time. I put this on and felt no itch whatsoever. I ordered a large and it fits perfectly . I’m 5’10”, 180 pounds. It is long enough and the sleeves fit just right as well. Looking forward to being able to use it on morning runs as the weather gets colder and cross country skiing here in Colorado.

Worked well for layering up in Iceland. Was used as a mid-layer most days and helped stay warm in some cold winds. Sizing was true to size and you can tell the quality is solid.

Soft, warm, stylish

Icebreaker’s wool shirts are soft, warm, and look really good on! Sleeves are long enough, length of shirt is generous. I size up because I often wear it on its own, but it layers beautifully as well. Washes well, I’ve never experienced shrinking or fading. Well worth the cost.

Great wardrobe staple!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Will mainly be worn as a base layer under other tops. Will also wear with open sweater and a scarf, etc.

An Icebreaker fan!

Good lightweight base layer, runs small

I work outdoors year-round and practically live in base layers once the temp starts to drop. This base layer is lightweight and comfortable to layer for cool to cold temps. Four stars because the fit was a bit small, especially the sleeves which are maybe 1-2 in too short. I also have a small waist and bigger bust (32D) and found the small a bit too tight to wear without something to cover it. I'll continue to wear it as a base layer but I would size up to a medium to wear the shirt by itself.
