Merino Wool is "The Way" I use this as an undershirt on cool mornings while on assignments in Wildland Fire. I know, you may think it's spendy... it is... but merino wool is worth every penny.

Good Base Layer for Chilly Days
I used this for winter runs in Western PA. Temperatures probably ranged from 15°- 30° and it kept me fairly warm with just the base layer and heavier layer on top or just a t shirt on the warmer days. Not sure how it would do on colder days when you aren’t as active, but it works for me on my runs. Sometimes stretches out a decent bit when sweating which I’m sure is common for merino base layers.

Great base layer with great fabric and feel but don’t purchase if you are tall.
I alove this base layer feel but it is too short. The small and the XL are nearly the exact same length. If you are tall you will be exposed with any big movement throughout the day. If you are short to average height, this is a great base layer!

Great Baselayer
This has become an all around shirt for me. It breathes well and is comfortable to be worn leisurely but also keeps me extremely warm while skiing resort and touring. I run hot but, this layer with a light shell keeps me more than warm enough for touring uphill down into the teens. I also wear this as a standalone during fall hikes.

I wear these shirts literally every day
