Light and durable

This was my wife's go to base layer glove in the winter. Her go to fabric is merino wool. One of the main reasons for her choice in this glove was the fact it's touchscreen compatible. The glove was also thin enough to fit inside a thicker glove or mitt.

Initially I was worried how thin they felt but my hands have never had a warmer winter.

I love these gloves! They breathe and help regulate my temp even when wet and covered in snot and slush. When I first receive these gloves in the mail, I was worried because they seemed so thin but they were seriously the best purchase I made last Christmas. I live in Idaho and the wind is freezing always and those moments while you are chilling on the ski lift or digging out your snowmobile can really ruin your day if your hands get cold. I use them as a liner inside my waterproof gloves so when my hands get hot or I need a little more dexterity for something I can remove my puffy gloves and still have good protection. It really is a life savor especially as I am getting older (42) but I don’t feel like my circulation recovers as quickly anymore. My fingers are short but my palm is wide and the small fit great.

Durable merino gloves

Most merino gloves are thin and not durable. These gloves are more durable, but still great for the days that aren't horribly cold!

Good for taking the edge off

My fingers tend to run cold, and while these liners don’t solve that completely, they definitely take the edge off on chilly days. They’re lightweight and slim, so they fit easily under my ski gloves or mittens without feeling bulky. On milder days I can even wear them alone for running errands or walking the dog, and they’re comfortable enough for that. The merino wool does a great job at regulating temperature and doesn’t get clammy like synthetic liners can.

Bad Quality – Slips Off Constantly

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

This is hands-down the worst glove I’ve ever purchased—and I’ve bought plenty over the years as an avid hiker and outdoors enthusiast. The quality is poor, the fit is unreliable, and it constantly slips off, making it more of a liability than a help in the elements. Definitely not built for serious use. Would not recommend.

Love these liners! They add a great insulation and keep gloves dry.

Very Happy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like most icebreaker products, this is comfortable, warm, durable and dry. The best base layer I've ever owned in 3 decades of winter sports.

Great gloves

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great layer under other gloves or alone for varying conditions. I love the wool and it makes my hands warm because without them they would be cold unless it were hot but it's not otherwise I wouldn't be wearing gloves.

Too thin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For merino wool glove liners, these are too thin. I wasn't expecting that. Given how thin they are, I expect they will develop holes in the fingertips pretty quickly
