UltraPress Purifier Cartridge
Replacement purifier cartridges for the UltraPress® (and Ultralight) are designed to last 300 cycles (40 gal. / 150L). Lifespan will decline when purifying water with high levels of silt, sediment or tannins. Cartridge press time increases towards the end of the cartridge lifespan; when press time reaches 25-30 seconds, the cartridge should be replaced. Cartridge continues to protect, even as press time increases.

Tac Santa's take on Geo and ultra press filters
I have carried combination of geo and ultra press over the last fre years. cant say enough. I have used everywhere from the house tap, traveling hotels to creeks and rivers. can't think of a time they failed me. I can taste the difference in even the house tap water. cant say been brave enough to test against raw creek and river water. For a guy that drinks around a gallon to two a half gallons a day. Grayl has done the trick for me at home and on the go.

Peace of mind
After much research, I settled on the Grayl system. This filter is high quality and gives peace of mind when water sources are questionable.

Filter
Filter did not last the number stated. Use it on tap water at a hotel in travel. One other time from stream water. Took my family backpacking and by day two couldn’t get it to filter even with all my weight on it. Maybe got 20 times on it. Had to give up on it and boil water instead. Kind of silly for the price I paid. Purchased a replacement filter because I like the concept and the water that was filtered tasted great. But if proves unreliable even on low silt water not sure I’ll be able to trust it again.

Great product!
We've been using Grayl purifiers for years in the backcountry and for travel. We own two —can't live without them!

Owned both sizes for a few years now…
I own both flavors of water purifier bottles. And while I am rarely out of country, America, it’s good to know I have the means even if it’s for nothing to be sure my water is good.

Best Purchase Ever
My Grayl is amazing. I use it all the time fly fishing. No need to take heavy water bottles. You’re standing in the drinking water. I’ve used it backpacking, multi-day float trips and hunting. I’ll never not carry it again on my outdoor adventures.

Original grayl
I purchased my, still go-to, Grayl from kickstarter. Still use original but just bought current version for fly fishing friend that is tired of carrying water in. Thanks for the perfectly engineered back pack water bottle

Forever
I purchased a unit for me and another unit for my boy. I told my boy to never go to the woods without his Grayl.

Disappointed
Trying to filter water was no easy task. It took over two hours to filter a 24pack 16oz case. Only adults would have the strength to push down on it. Should have an automatic push button that would filter itself
