Here's what customers have to say
The product offers comprehensive health and fitness tracking, including weight, BMI, body fat, muscle mass, bone mass, and water percentage. Many users praise the seamless integration with the companion app and the ability to monitor trends over time. However, some report inconsistencies or inaccuracies with the body composition metrics, as well as difficulties in waking up or connecting the scale to WiFi. While the product provides a wealth of health data, the inconsistent performance and accuracy of certain features may be a drawback for some users.

I enjoy seeing the changes from my efforts.
I have been seriously working out and improving my diet for the last year. And my weight has not dropped as much as I planned. My BMI has decreased a bit but my body fat has dropped significantly and my % water has increased significantly. That tells me that my efforts are working. The scale is a great tool and it keeps me motivated. If you are someone that tracks your effort then this is a must have. My gripe is that I have had to reset it a few times over the year because it stops calculating BF%. That can be a PITA but other than that, I highly recommend having this scale.

Complicated
Directions are short. Linking with multiple users is terrible. The touch feature to change screens is inconsistent. Very poorly designed.

great scale to integrate to connect app
easy setup, great connectivity to the app. Only issue is the feet like to pop off a lot, especially over segmented tile

This help me take a lot of weight OFF
I did a lot of reading about it after I got it. And found out the metrics used is based on the average individual 5’9 the number coming up on the body fat was not making sense. So I got my self a caliper and used the parrillo method on http://www.linear-software.com/online.html Got my fat percentage from the caliper and enters it in the scale through the Garmin connect app. I’m 6’2 and pretty muscular on my whole body except the belly and love handles and 37% was way way off. The caliper said I was 24%. So the scale has difficulty with muscle density I guess. Any who. Love the scale I went from 270 to 194 currently I lost a lot more then I wanted since having distal bicep surgery in April of 2025 so I lost a bit of mass but I’m gaining again super lean I hit 6% body fat a couple days ago now just have to dial in the diet to the right ratio to gain some mass back

Algorithms need a serious update
The Garmin Connect app fitness age needs to be updated with a setting to use body fat percentage vs bmi. While the documentation states that the algorithm automatically selects body fat percentage over bmi when paired with the S2, it does not work! When viewing the fitness app widget, it still states reduce BMI to reduce fitness age. Also capping the fitness age to 7-10 years is a flaw. With technology as advanced as it is today, the inability for these products to account for athletic body profiles is unacceptable. In addition, there should be a ruck function that allows one to select pack weight and it should feed data to Vo2 MAX calculations. Please improve your product.

Smart Scale Review
After using this smart scale for two weeks, I'm genuinely impressed with its performance and integration capabilities. The seamless connectivity and health tracking have made it an invaluable addition to my family wellness routine. The standout feature is the flawless sync with the Garmin app. Data transfers automatically and appears instantly in my Garmin Connect dashboard, making it effortless to track progress alongside my other fitness metrics. This integration has significantly improved my ability to monitor eating habits and correlate them with my overall health trends. Having the BMI and body fat percentage displayed together in one convenient location is incredibly useful. The scale provides a complete snapshot of body composition rather than just basic weight measurements. This multi-metric approach gives me a much better understanding of my health progress beyond simple weight fluctuations. The scale is very easy to use and consistently delivers readings quickly. Setup was straightforward, and the daily routine of stepping on and getting comprehensive data has become seamless. This scale has exceeded my expectations. The Garmin integration alone makes it worth the investment for anyone already in that ecosystem. The convenience of having multiple body composition metrics tracked automatically has genuinely helped me stay more mindful of my health habits. Highly recommended for Garmin users seeking comprehensive body composition tracking.

Works as intended
works well and as intended. I think the metrics are a bit off as the muscle mass and bone mass can vary day to day. but I love that it seamlessly syncs with my Garmin app and the other subsequent connected apps. it is slightly finicky turning it on. I usually have to slide it on the floor or step on and step off.
