Here's what customers have to say
The watch offers a bright and vibrant AMOLED display, exceptional battery life, and comprehensive fitness and health tracking capabilities, including detailed metrics for various activities. Users appreciate the morning reports, training readiness assessments, and personalized workout suggestions. The GPS and heart rate monitoring are highly accurate. While some found the initial setup and navigation complex, most were able to quickly get the hang of the features. The glass screen can be prone to scratches, though screen protectors may help.

Nice and clear display plus stylish, use it every day to track my heart rate while cycling and easily connects to my head unit as well as tracking my sleep. One downside is not the nicest at looking at notifications and responding to then as compared to a galaxy watch

Excellent Running Buddy
My Forerunner 965 is the best Garmin watch ever. I like the amoled display, not only when it's still dark, but also on a very bright and sunny day. A quick turn of my wrist will show exactly what's going on during my run. How many miles, what pace, heartrate, elevation and way more. Afterwards there are tons of useful information available when the watch is connected (cable or wireless) to phone or computer to check stride length, cadence, left/right balance, stamina, running power and the list goes on. Even when you're asleep this smart Forerunner keeps working hard to provide a full report when I wake up. I coach a group of runners and after they upload their workouts I can check their movements and comment on it. Fantastic!

Took running to the next level
Got this about 6 months ago and it leveled ip my running game. Only thing is the face is a little big for my liking otherwise it is perfect.

Mostly good
The watch does well overall, but I’ve had a couple of issues. I’ve had issues where it stops mid-swim without pushing buttons (so I was put on the beta software as a work-around). And, I get a random alert every 12 minutes that will not go away on my run mode…really nice when doing a marathon (at the end of an Ironman …plus during all the training sessions?!) to have a random alert that reminds me every 12 minutes that there is no fix for this phantom alert at this time)?!

HR monitor innaccurate
This is my fourth Garmin Forerunner. I miss my 945! The 965 has a very inaccurate HR monitor. I've tried every position on my wrist and all the tricks on chats, still does not work. Garmin sent me a refurbished replacement, same issue. Manually checking HR while wearing confirms it's way off. I miss the 945, far more accurate.

My favorite Garmin to date!
This is probably my 5th or 6th Garmin and hands down my favorite! My previous watch was a Fenix 6, which was also a solid run. I’m a runner, who dabbles in biking, and loves stats! The battery life on this watch is also incredible. I toyed with another Fenix or a solar option. I’m happy I went with the Forerunner over the Fenix, as I wear it all the time and have an office job. It’s definitely smaller and looks better for everyday wear. I do some sort of exercise every day and only need to charge it once a week. The GPS has been the most accurate of all my watches. I can’t say enough great things about this watch. Almost a year later, the battery life is just as good as the day I bought it.

Everything you need and more
This watch has everything you need as a runner. Coupled with a heart rate monitor, you get more metrics than you will ever understand. I use it mostly for running. I also use it for swimming and biking. It is very accurate with the gps. I would say this is more of an expert level watch but beginners can use it as well. It monitors sleep, body battery, training levels and loads, as well as a plethora of info that I haven’t tapped into.
