Keb Trouser
Fjallraven meets the demands of eco-conscious alpinists, trekkers, and climbers with the Women's Keb Pant. Made mostly of recycled polyester and organic cotton, the Keb achieves a green status while still remaining highly durable for the rough outdoors. Fjallraven waxed the shell with G-1000 for improved durability and increased water-resistance, and you can reapply the wax in different thicknesses to accommodate each season accordingly. The Keb also features articulated knees for a full range of motion, zippered openings from knee to hip for ventilation, and a strap adjustment at each cuff for boots. There are pockets designed specifically for a knife and a map, and there are more pockets for personal organization.

Poor fit
Great material - but very poor fit. Doesn’t really suit a woman body shape. Size is up is massive and then you are completely loosing the form. :( The top is very stiff, while the bottom part is very loose.

Love these trousers!
I wore these hiking in Zion and they were warm, comfortable, and durable for any rocks and twig scrapes.

Terrible pants
I haves saved up for these pants for years and finally purchased them for hiking adventures. I am so disappointed! They bag out so bad when you are hiking, and my backpack literally pushed them halfway down my butt while moving. The person I was hiking with ordered hers at the same time as me, and literally took them off and hiked 40km out in her underwear. DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR LONG DISTANCE ADVENTURES!!!!

Great pants that take abuse
I’m hard on gear, especially clothing when in the mountains. After loving my first pair of Kebs, I bought a second and they’re quickly replacing most of my softshell-style mountain pants. The side zips are great for venting the legs on sunny days on the glacier. I’ve worn these through dumping snow and miserable rain and have never had an issue so long as you keep up with the water-proofing recommendations. The design is well though out with stretchy material for comfortable movement in spots and reinforced material where necessary for durability.

Do not wear near camp fires
Do not wear these around camp fires. They are not the slightest bit fire resistant and small embers will melt holes in them instantly. The warranty does not cover burn holes and you'll have to pay if you want the store to patch them for you. The store won't accept returns if the pants have already been worn.

The new ones are missing an important detail
I have an older pair of Kebs, a pair of Nikka trousers and two pairs of Nikka shorts. I love them all, for all the reasons you see on the reviews. In addition, each of these older pants has an extra wide facing under the fly zipper, with a button hole that slips over an extra button that is affixed to the inside. This is a classy and important detail; when one is trekking/hiking/stretching/straining, the extra button takes pressure off the zipper and main button closure. I recently bought a new pair of Kebs (all right, a size larger :/ ). That important detail is missing. The facing is narrow and has only the one button above the zipper. I happened to see some of the even more expensive Bergtagens in a shop and checked those... the extra button was eliminated there too. Why?? The result is disappointing and makes for a less rugged trouser. I am not impressed with the downgrade.

Pants that can handle any situation
I got these pants in the spring for field work (I work in environment). I ended up wearing them all summer and was impressed how well they handled bushwacking in thick forest and shrubs without getting shredded. The big pockets are very useful to keep your things within reach at all time. In the fall I went for a 5-day backpacking trip and I was absolutely impressed by their versatility. We had some hot days, and the vents allowed me to stay comfortable. We had a night of pouring rain and the next day everybody got their pants soaked by the wet vegetation. The G-1000 fabric was just water repellant enough to keep me dry. Finally we went over a snowy mountain pass, and the hooks allowed me to tie the pants to my laces and keep the snow from getting into my boots. Overall the only thing these pants couldn't handle was the darn chipmunk that chewed a hole through the pocket one night to get at the couple peanuts that were left in there!

Bought these Spring of 2021 for two multi-day hikes over the summer. Overall these are great! The fit is wonderful, they are durable and sturdy while on multiday hikes. However I hold gave three stars because I find they do really start to stretch out after 2+ days in a row where I feel like i need to add a belt. More frustrating, the side seams where the zipper is sewn in along the side of the thighs creates a pressure spot where I have gotten rub marks or blisters every time I have worn these. I now have to pad those spots.

Multi-Season and full of features
These are one of the more intense trousers in the line, but also the most adaptable to different climates and activities. The breathable stretch fabric and the vent zippers keep you cool in warmer months, while the waxed cotton is keeping wetness and wind at bay. I add a base layer to amp up the warmth in the winter, making these awesome out in the snow. Tons of pockets and space make these ideal for travel as well!

Love At First Hike
This was the first piece I ever owned from Fjallraven and remains the best pair of hiking pants I've ever had. The first time I really used them, I was backpacking in the Sierras in the middle of summer and though I might use a lighter pair in that particular climate, the fact that I didn't feel like I was melting was huge. The side vents helped with heat management, and the durability of the fabric made me feel invincible! The more I use them, the more rugged they look and I just love that.
