Almost a good bag; terrible straps
I had been considering buying this bag for a while and wanted to love it. I am going trekking for 2 weeks and this had all the features I was looking for: zippered/fold top, spacious compartment, light colored interior, place for rain coat on outside, place for trekking poles, waist strap, etc. Unfortunately, I found the straps to be absolutely terrible, and a deal-breaker for me. The straps were heavy, stiff, and wide. When I say "wide", I mean it both ways - the straps were wide-set (far apart from each other) AND each strap was so wide that it took up most of my shoulder. For reference, I am a woman, 5'7, 145 lbs with medium build. Most fjallraven bags fit me fine. However, these straps seemed made for someone with a much wider frame. The straps were uncomfortable just wearing it around the house with a small bit of weight in it, so I imaged that the bag would be very uncomfortable on a long trek. Sadly, I returned it. Please Fjallraven, consider making this same bag with more narrow straps for ladies.

So Far So Good
I picked out this bag as I wanted something with a little more volume than the daypack I had been using for bike errands, overnight trips, and occasional hikes. The side pockets are spacious; you can actually fit a U-lock in them! The structured back felt a little odd when I tried the bag on empty, but it felt much better with the bag loaded up. The bag doesn't look too frumpy when empty, either. It would be nice to have a little more organization - maybe a deep outside pocket for a few essentials. I'm also unsure why the description says its not compatible with a water reservoir - there's a sleeve, attachment loop, and an exit port for a hose - which makes for a nice addition for a longer hike. I can't speak to the long-term waterproofness, but it fended off a 20-30 minute deluge on a recent ride while keeping everything inside dry. Overall it met my expectations as versatile daypack. Looking forward to seeing what all I can strap to this thing and how it holds up.

100% recommend!!
By far my favourite pack! Amazing and comfortable padding, I like the zip top closure too! I do enjoy the shape of this pack, and how the fabric feels. Only thing I would like is maybe a little more organization on the inside or one more larger outside zip pocket, similar to what’s on the ulvo pack. I’d recommend this pack to anyone!! So excited to bring this as my day pack to Iceland! The forge grey is also a dark grey/green BEAUTIFUL COLOUR!!!
