Freerider Pro Cycling Shoe offers legendary pedal grip with added impact protection and quick-dry performance
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"This is my go-to flat pedal shoe for everything. The grip is unbeatable, the fit is snug without being stiff, and it dries way faster than the OG Freeriders. Hard to beat for trail, park, or shuttle days."
Built for riders who push hard and demand more from their gear, the Five Ten Freerider Pro Cycling Shoe delivers legendary grip and all-day comfort in a trail-tough design. It takes the classic feel of the original Freerider and cranks up the performance with better weather resistance, a faster-drying upper, and enhanced impact protection.
The Stealth® S1 rubber outsole with its signature Dotty tread keeps us locked to the pedals, even in wet or blown-out terrain. Underfoot, a molded EVA midsole provides comfort and vibration damping, while the reinforced toe box protects against rock strikes and high-speed bailouts. Whether we’re charging tech trails, lapping jump lines, or heading out for a big backcountry day, the Freerider Pro brings confident control and rugged durability every time we clip in—or rather, don’t.

great shoes only wish they had BOA
This is my 2nd pair they are a great fit and great quality. I have tried to get other 510's but they never seem to be available in my size. Always wanted the goretex boots with BOA but these are never in the 14.5. Did order a pair (cant quite remember which ones) but got an email to say they didnt actually have them instock that was a bit of a disappointment so just went for another pair the same as what I already have. Would also love to see the 14.5s actually available to buy in the high street as it would be nice to be able to try on prior to ordering. These trainers do not disappoint especially for the larger footed person

Best shoe on the market.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fit is excellent, the stiffness is just perfect, and overall, I feel it’s the best shoe in the marketplace. I have a pair of the clipless 5/10’s too. I love them both. Thank you!

No slip shoes
If you ride a mountain bike, stop wearing regular running shoes. These make such a big difference when it comes to having my feet not slip off the pedals.

Great shoe but disappointed that the side split
After 6 months of use the sole became detached slightly from the side and lost its water resistance kinda sad since I have had great luck in the past with five-ten products
