Here's what customers have to say
These shoes are praised for their excellent grip, comfort, and adjustability. They are described as lightweight, sturdy, and providing a stable platform for riding. Some reviewers note the BOA version fits differently than the lace-up model, so sizing may need adjustment. While a few had issues with the BOA system, the majority were very satisfied with the performance and convenience of the closure. Overall, the shoes are highlighted as a top choice for mountain biking, with high ratings for their quality, fit, and functionality.

Don’t buy. Low quality.
Less than 3 months old and the sole has ripped open. Garbage. They won’t warranty them. Citing normal wear and tear.

The gold standard for flat mountain bike shoes!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great fit and looks great on my foot! Love that everything you throw at it wipes right off. The size of the shoe was spot on, so be sure to order your actual size. Overall, I am very happy with my choice!

Light but protective, comfortable and easy on your feet, better feeling on pedal and more sure control of bike, smile Eric

No ventilation, never dry out.
Once these shoes get wet, weather sweat or water, they do not dry out. And sadly that means they start to smell extremely bad. I really liked the shoes in cooler weather, but hot summer riding on a regular basis has made them nasty.

Stable platform and great adjustability
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been riding with 5 10 shoes for years. Going back before Adidas owned them and have always loved the freerider pro. The addition of the boa system is amazing. I like my laces tight when I'm riding and usually would have to retire them multiple time per ride. With the boa I can adjust them while riding a connector trail

Sole separated.

The first pair I returned because there was a bubble in the sole. The second pair performed well until about 6 weeks and then the sole separated. Too expensive for such a quick fail. Do not recommend.

Perfect for the trail
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well fitting show, tough enough for any trail and the boa system keeps the shoe firmly in place.

BOA rocks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn’t sure about BOA but I gave it a try. And I love it. BOA makes it so much easier to put on/off shoes. Plus find adjustments. Now I want all my shoes to have BOA. Shoes are hard but I guess you want them hard for bike paddles. May not be for long distance walking but good enough for short distances. They are good looking shoes for on and off bike. Get the BOA version, it’s worth it.
