M-Free 108 Ski delivers freeride power and playful float for powder, chop, and big-mountain lines
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I’ve skied the M-Free 108 all over the mountain, and it’s a serious sleeper pick for charging lines. The hybrid core feels damp but still lively, and the Ti Rocket Frame gives it a ton of stability at speed. It’s surprisingly easy to pivot in tight spots for how powerful it is, and it floats really well when you find the deep stuff."
Who It’s For
Advanced All-Mountain & Freeride Skiers:
Perfect for riders who want one ski that can handle storm-day powder, tracked-out chop, and high-speed descents. Best for aggressive skiers who demand stability but still want a ski that can pivot, slash, and play.
What It’s For
Charging Powder, Chop & Big Lines:
At 108mm underfoot, this ski is wide enough to float in deep snow while staying versatile across mixed resort conditions. The rocker-camber-rocker profile blends surfy powder performance with confidence-inspiring edge hold for exposed or firm terrain.
Why We Like It
Stable Power Meets Playful Precision:
We like the M-Free 108 because it doesn’t force a tradeoff—it charges like a big-mountain ski, but still feels playful enough for pivoting in trees or sending side hits. The Ti Rocket Frame and fiberglass torsion box keep it locked in at speed, while the hybrid beech/PU core adds the dampness needed to smooth out variable snow.

One ski quiver killer
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- 192cm
- Weight:
- 180
This ski truly can do it all. From deep days to wind buff to groomers, this ski is perfect. It's stiff underfoot to be able to hold an edge and stay stable at high speeds and with a softer tip and tail, still playful and poppy to handle your favorite side hit on the mountain. As a freeride skier, I mount mine 2cm's forward of the recommended mount line for a more playful feel. The recommended line will also leave you in a perfect zone to tackle anything the mountain gives you. You'd be stoked to add this ski to your quiver and will quickly realize it's going to be your first pick for every day.

Amazing ski but bring back the old top sheet
This is my favorite ski. I have bought, broken, and replaced them 3 times. I love this ski, but this new design upset me. The top sheet is so ugly now. I will not be buying another pair until it is changed. I hope the 2026 M-Free is better.

Good for progressing skiers
Demoed and bought this ski 1 month ago as a powder ski. Glad I did. My skiing went from intermediate to advanced on this ski. I love skiing powder in the trees and the float combined with the quick and responsive turning of this ski was just what I was looking for. What has surprised me however is how well this ski carves on groomed and hard snow. It's not quick edge to edge at 108 but the stiff camber underfoot makes for snappy and powerful turns. Its weight allows it to ski chopped up powder and soft crud with ease as long as one has a balanced and good technique. These skis don't tolerate poor technique well.

Can't lose with this ski
I have many skis and this is one of my favorite. Super playful and easy to ski. Can do every aspect of the mountain and rocks in the pow.

Favorite ski of all time!
I have been skiing on the M-Free 108 since it first came out 5 or so years ago. I am 5'9" and 170lbs. I have skied both the 182cm and the 192cm. I ski Vail and am a Freeride ski coach. The 182cm is my choice for most days. The characteristics of being a strong and stable ski while also being playful and pivotable is what I love about this ski. The 192cm excels on bigger more open terrain. This year I will elect to get the 185cm, which I am really excited about. This ski is truly a classic that can do it all and instills major confidence on the mountain.
