Stayed dry
I bought this jacket for my trip to Wales. It rained every day but I stayed dry - this jacket sounds a little ‘crunchy’ when you get it but it was not when you wear it - it withstood the heavy rains & I remained dry!! The only problem was that the Velcro gave out on the left sleeve so I couldn’t tighten it but I will sew it closed. I would still recommend! I bought 2 sizes bigger to accommodate a sweater or sweatshirt although it was warm enough with just the Columbia PFG Tidal long sleeve shirt in 50 degree rainy weather!

Jacket was a lifesaver in Alaska!!

Great Jacket!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the color and feel of rhis jacket! Totally waterproof. Will be great for the fall and spring. Light warmth so in the fall I will need to wear layers. Arms are a little big but I sized up to wera layers underneath.

The Perfect Rain Jacket!

Definitely waterproof
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a waterproof jacket for a trip to Iceland, like totally waterproof. I stood in the shower with this for 5 minutes and the water didn’t soak in, even after I took it off. I compared it to the Eddie Bauer Rain Foil and this is the one I’ll be keeping!

Have not been in a drenching rain in years….live in SW and global warming is hitting us hard. But is waterproof in rain storms I have been in. Great hood.
