What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"I’ve worn the Cascadia 19 on everything from alpine scrambles to muddy trail runs in the Uintas, and the balance between support and flexibility is just right. The updated Trail Adapt System makes technical sections more manageable, and I’ve found the DNA LOFT v3 cushioning great for all-day wear."

We count on the Cascadia 19 Trail Running Shoe to handle miles of trail, shifting weather, and changing terrain. Designed for mountain missions, this shoe's updated Trail Adapt System integrates a flexible Ballistic Rock Shield with nitrogen-infused DNA LOFT v3 cushioning to keep us grounded and agile when the trail twists and turns.

Its TrailTack Green outsole offers all-terrain grip in both wet and dry conditions, made with 25% recycled content to tread more lightly. Great tread and width, little longer to break in

As a female with a wide foot, I don't have a lot of choices. Usually, the "wide" isn't wide enough. That is not the case with this trail runner. The toe box is nice and wide. Very comfortable. The treads are awesome! I do not fear slipping on the trail with these. My previous versions of the Cascadia were comfortable out of the box. These took 3 short runs to break in before they felt ready for a longer run.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really loved the color and wanted to so much to enjoy these shoes. The cushion seemed just right, but unfortunately they were just too heavy of a shoe and had really no grip for rockier mountain terrain. They felt like bricks on my feet after longer runs and slipped on the terrain on the decent of the mountain. Not to mention that my heal kept slipped and sliding in the shoe. I would like the suggest that the shoe be lighter an a narrower and midsole....they would of been perfect! I really appreciate the run happy guarentee....I did return them. But disappointed as I loved the color and the cushioning. I just need a great shoe for the mountains trails, I really didn't need a less technical terrain as I love the Brooks divide 5 for that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hoping because of the thicker sole, they would wear better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time wearing the Cascadia and I really like it. The toe box is a little wider, which is great for me. I initially bought this shoe, because of the color, but I will continue to wear this style.

My new favorite hike and climb shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My running days are done, however, hiking and climbing adventures are my new passion. My old hikers were not keeping me safe on slippery surfaces. Cascadia 19 does this and more with a snug fit, excellent calcaneal and arch supports. Thank you for evolving my active shoe choices!

Not for my foot

The shoe constricted my right foot to point that it was painful and very uncomfortable. I’ve always bought Brooks since 1995 but these shoes had sock-like netting inside & near shoe laces. I think this was the problem.

I’ve been using this trail runner since version 17 and have always loved it. But I must say the redesign on version 19 is spot on. I have already exhausted a pair and on to my second pair.

did not work for me

these trail runners did not work for me. There was too much cushion and bulk. I did not feel like ai had a fit sneaker and it just felt clunky. I previously wore Divide for a few models and they evolved and the last pair felt stable on the trails but also comfortable and safe for terrain. I will have to look for other trail runners made by other companies since they appear to have discontinued Divide.
