AH-MAZING
These trekking poles are fantastic! The natural cork handles are great for sweat and these poles are very sturdy. Used these poles to hike about 32 miles in Glacier National Park and they were the best purchase I've made this year. If you are debating on whether to buy, definitely buy them. You won't regret it!

Black Diamond Trekking Poles
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- Adjustable
I picked these up thanks to a referral regarding a lightweight, yet strong hiking pole to replace my heavier ones. They packed up small to fit in my checked back for a trip to hike around Alaska. I loved the cork grips as they were less wearing on the hands, and they didn't absorb any of the moisture from the rain I experienced. I like the flip locks as they stayed in place and although it takes a small effort to open them to readjust, I like that secure feature.

Very user friendly but a little difficult to collapse
I have had these poles for about 4 months and have thus far had a very positive experience with them with the exception of the flicklock. It is a bit too sturdy to the point where I have had to use a screwdriver to adjust them initially. I primarily day hike anywhere from 3-12 miles per week and have little need to collapse them as I keep them in the back seat of my car when not in use, but it would be challenging to take them on an overnight or long distance hike where I need to be able to collapse them easily.

I bought the trekking poles
I bought the trekking poles to hike the Grand Canyon trails. The Black Diamond Trail Cork are very lightweight and strong. They provided great stability, and secure grip on the trails (never had a slip). Very easy to adjust and store when not in use. I have also used them extensively on trails in our local national forest. Highly recommend.

My first poles.
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I've never used trekking poles before these, but after tackling a 15+ mile hike and climb with these, I'm definitely a convert. The difference they made-especially on steep descents-was huge. My knees and legs felt noticeably better during and after the hike compared to previous hikes without poles. The cork grips are comfortable, and the adjustability is quick and easy. Lightweight and easy to throw on my pack too!

Solid poles
Seem to be well built and should last a few seasons. My last pair took 5 years to wear out.

Include instructions on how to adjust the straps
If you are not going to make it obvious how to adjust the straps then include instructions. Nothing with the poles, nothing on the site. Had to go to Youtube for help. Pitiful. 2 stars off. Otherwise good poles.

They are Lifesavers
My wife bought these for me while we were hiking Kings Sequoia Park in California. No joke, if I hadn't had them I probably would've fallen three different times and nearly killed myself. They are sensational Poles.

Just right
I got these to replace my first pair of black diamond poles that are almost 15 years old. They still work great except the rubber grips are deteriorating. I love the cork handles and the grip extension for steep hills. The flick lock is still a great mechanism. I look forward to many years and many miles with these.
