Tail kit is easy to assemble
I bought two tail kits to retrofit two pairs old of Ascension skins. Assembly was easy and the outcome is neat and tidy. I used a leather punch to make neater holes than the enclosed instructions steer the user towards. The peened rivets are fine, but if you happen to have pop-rivets and the correct tool, that ought to work nicely too.

Easy kit
This was fairly easy to retrofit onto a skin that had an inferior clip system that failed constantly. The BD clips are so much more secure.

New tails for old skins.
My wife needed to replace her skins before our backcountry trip to Austria. I had a pair of older BD skins that were still functional but too long for her skis. Purchased new BD tails but never shortened skins before. Instructions were easy to follow. After the final trimming they fit and work well. Thank you.

Simple, effective quality BD gear!
Needed to replace the tail connection on an older pair of skins where it had ripped out and this BD kit offers a simple, easy to install and effective means to extend the life of gear so I can get back to POW and beautiful places. Thanks BD!

Great replacement kit
Worked great. Didn’t take very long to replace both (15 minutes) with the correct tools. I had an anvil and ball peen hammer which some people might not have.

Hated the tails on my
Hated the tails on my pomoca skins, so bought a set of these. Cut off my old tails and simply installed this with no effort.

Ski Skin Tail Kit
Good thing these are easy to replace because they break every season. The plastic cracks where the clip goes through. Need to come up with a better design/material
