I haven’t skied in it

I haven’t skied in it yet, but the fit and flexibility is great. I just trust in Black Diamond for everything: my AT skis, bindings and poles, etc. they never disappoint, finely engineered products.

Great jacket

Used this jacket for work for 2 years now, great for cold days with an underlayer and great for hot days with just a shirt, breathable and waterproof, honestly the best jacket I've used in the past 15 years. . .

Disappointed

Familiarity:: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I was disappointed that while wearing it over a merino wool baselayer, it was COLD. It seemed to conduct the heat away from me very rapidly. I was hoping it would be a great windbreak for winter exercise, but it seems to actually be colder in the wind. I was hoping to use it cross country skiing, and perhaps it would work with a lot of layers underneath. Nicely made otherwise, I'll try it with less strenuous exercise.
