Whatever Snowboard rides everything from park laps to pow stashes with 3BT shaping and playful pop
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I was skeptical about Triple Base Technology, but once I adapted I loved how easy it was to butter, press, and carve with confidence. The Whatever is lightweight and super poppy, making jumps and side hits feel effortless. It’s versatile enough to ride park one lap and then float powder the next without switching boards."
Who It’s For
Intermediate to Advanced All-Mountain Freestyle Riders:
This board is for riders who want a playful, do-it-all snowboard that carves well, floats in soft snow, and holds its own in the park. It’s ideal for those who like a balanced directional twin shape with enough pop and stability to ride hard, but enough forgiveness to keep it fun.
What It’s For
All-Mountain Versatility with Park-Friendly Feel:
The Whatever is built for riders who don’t want to choose between groomers, pow, and park. The 3BT + Sidekick profile creates smooth turn initiation and catch-free presses, while the medium flex makes it stable enough for carving and playful enough for freestyle progression.
Why We Like It
Surfy, Stable, and Fun Everywhere:
We like the Whatever because it feels like a true do-it-all resort board. The Light Core with Dual Super Tubes adds pop without weight, and the urethane Shock Walls dampen chatter for smoother rides. It’s versatile enough to be your daily driver whether you’re carving corduroy, cruising pow, or lapping the terrain park.

This board served me about 15 hours of use before snapping just above the front binding. I've been riding for 20 years now and this was the first time I've tried a product by Bataleon. The board it's self was alright. The 3D profile was fun to ride. Pretty surfy. It was much softer than I'd like, but manageable. However, after riding it for barely 3 days, it broke without any trauma. I claimed a manufacturer defect as anyone would Bataleon claimed that it was a result of my own doings and that the damage would not fall under warranty. They offered 20% off a new board. I kindly turned that down as I will not be buying a Bataleon board again. My words will trickle through to the industry in the PNW as well as I've been sharing my experience.

I was skeptical about the “Triple Base Technology” but adapted quickly and really enjoy how easy it is to butter and transition now. The board rides really well, and is very light with a lot of pop making small jumps and drops feel effortless. It nollies and ollies flawlessly without twist, which made it a lot of fun around the park. The tail is not exceptionally different from the nose when riding switch, but did stabilize well when trying to manual.

This board is everything you want in a resort slaying snowboard. Directional twin with a fun shape and a playful flex. Works well in the park, looks good on your feet and chows down on powder when it can. Feels like a twin in the park, however the nose and tail shape combined with the 3BT make it surprisingly confident in deep snow too. I also set my bindings back a little to give it even more nose for those deeper days. This board really can do everything... It's perfect!!
