"These bibs strike a great balance between compression, durability, and off-road comfort. The Type.911 fabric is abrasion-resistant yet breathable, keeping me cool on long gravel rides while providing stabilizing compression. The rollBar suspension system ensures the chamois stays in place, and the zeroPressure waist offers a snug fit without discomfort. The TACTICA T5 chamois is plush enough to mute vibration from rough terrain, and the integrated thigh pockets are super handy for keeping snacks or a multi-tool close by. Whether I'm on an all-day gravel adventure or fast-paced singletrack, these bibs deliver."

Very comfortable, some knit picks
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I ordered these in a size small, and I stand 5'8", about 145 lbs. I wear a size small in all my other kit (rapha, twin six, godandfamous) and I found the fit to be very very snug out of the box, to the point where I was worried that I may have ordered the wrong size. I always wear race cut too, so I'm familiar with how compressive these garments should fit. Out of the box, the shoulder straps felt overly compressive (even in an aero position), as did the crotch. On my initial test ride, I could feel the straps digging into my shoulders/traps, and it was a constant annoyance in the back of my mind. The crotch felt like someone giving my junk a firm handshake the entire ride. I'm not sure if these bibs feature the "pouch" that assos is known for on their other bibs, because it did not feel like there was additional allocated space in the groin. I found myself adjusting my crotch a lot on that ride and wanted to take them off after about 7 miles. But each ride saw improvement. After a few more wears, washes and a lil forced stretching of the shoulder straps, I find the bibs extremely comfortable and now wear them on 50+ mile rides without noticing them. So these do break in. I do not have any complaints about the length, and did not find them too long as another reviewer commented. The chamois pad is the true gem. It's this awesome 3-D waffle spacermesh material that resists compression and breathes well. It's also pretty thick...thicker than any other chamois pad I've previously worn. But it does not feel bulky on the bike, and I use it equally for gravel or road. It's very comfortable, and doesn't look or feel like a diaper. The pockets are very basic, kind of small, and not the stretchiest material. I primarily bought these to try out the legendry fit/finish of Assos first, but second to that, was my desire for cargo pockets, which I can't really live without after having them on my other kits. The cargo pockets on all my other kits are better IMO. The assos ones are sized to fit a modern smart phone, and not too much more. The hem binding is simply just the raw top edge of the stretch material rolled over itself, which is kind of a cheap method of construction. The pockets almost seem like an afterthought, but they are serviceable and functional. The "rollbar suspension" which effectively connects the shoulder yolk to your butt/chamois does keep the chamois in place, and works well, but there is no avoiding these grey straps poking out from underneath your jersey. Kind of a weird look. Had the straps been black instead of grey, they would have been unnoticeable. Overall I am happy with them. Buy them with a coupon/on sale if you can, otherwise the are a bit steep.

Made fore people 7feet tall
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
ASSOS makes great bibs. Whoever has been in charge of product sizing lately needs replacing. The leg length on these bibs is ridiculously long. Back to the drawing board assos. Bring back the Kiespanzer bibs.

A race bib with pockets
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
These fit pretty much like my Equipe RS bibs but with slightly less compression. They are not a relaxed fit though. They definitely still feel like a racing bib. I love how wide Assos makes their straps. They’re never twisted and they’re the perfect tension. The chamois is the same shape as the Equipe S11 pad but adds a few millimeters of thickness to handle more rugged riding surfaces.
