Love the product!!
I use my boots every day for work, for more than 10 hours a day and they are super comfortable, I do recommend them for sure, i didn’t need to break them in, I won’t change them for any other shoes.

Wexford Waterproof Chelsea Boot

Great quality and style
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I am loving these boots. They are very comfortable. Can wear them out on the farm or out on the town. I have to wear high socks with them so they don't rub against my shin but that's just part of the style for me. Definitely glad I got them.

Sizing Completely Off
I wear size 8 in every brand of shoe, and this was the size recommended by Ariat. Long story short, I went through FOUR SIZES of these boots, none of which fit. 8, 7.5, and 7 slipped massively in the heel while also being too tight in the toe. This was still after trying different socks and shoe inserts. The 6.5 finally did not slip, but was impossibly tight. All four pairs had little cushioning in the sole, and my feet hurt after just a few minutes of trying them on. I had high expectations for these boots and was thoroughly disappointed by the sizing issues and overall quality. I have never had such a problem purchasing any other shoes and can’t understand why Ariat was so difficult. All four pairs ended up being returned.

Outersoul Separated from Soul (2 Pairs)
I was disappointed in the quality of the Chelsea Boot. I ordered the boots in April. Six months later, in September, the outersoul is separating from the soul on the two pairs I own. I wore these boots a few time a week, but not everyday. I loved the look and style of these boots. I'm disappointed they didn't last longer.

Great quality but sizing is off
These boots are clearly great quality, but the Waterproof Wexford runs very small. So small that I genuinely thought I had a mislabeled boot. You can see in the photos that the Wexford Lug Chelsea Boot (in color “Clay”) in 8.5 is about a half inch longer than the Wexford Waterproof Chelsea Boot (in color “Taupe”), also size 8.5. I know they’re different shapes and the Lug Chelsea boot is meant to be a bit more almond shaped and have less lift at the toe, but the difference in fit is still wild. The Lug Chelsea boot fits very comfortably, and I could only get my foot in the Waterproof Chelsea boot if I reeeaally muscled it in, and it was so tight and uncomfortable that there was no way I could walk around in that shoe for more than a minute. I rarely ever have to size up to a 9, even in boots, since I prefer to wear them with normal athletic crew socks. Considering exchanging for a different color and/or size, but I might have to go up a full size to a 9.5.

Beautiful Boot! Highly Recommend!
I always rely on reviews but never write them. I have to write a review of this boot.I need a waterproof shoe for a trip to England. I scoured the internet for a fashion forward and functional boot. I settled on this boot. I can't review the water proof aspect because I haven't had the opportunity to wear them in the rain. First, the package was shipped and received in a timely manner. The boots were packaged beautifully. I ordered the Java color. The color is a rich chocolate brown. The leather accents and wood heel elevate the boots appearance. I ordered the size 8. I am usually a size 8 in all of my shoes. My feet aren't narrow but they aren't especially wide either. I first tried the boot on barefoot. The left foot had a bit more room than the right. My right foot is slightly larger than my left. I put a thinnish sock on and put them on again. The left foot fit nicely and my right of course was a tad tight. I walked a bit and contemplated returning for a half size bigger. I wore them for a while and the right foot loosened up. I am keeping them. If I wanted to put a thicker sock on I would definitely have to return them. I highly recommend this boot. I tried on a couple of pairs of jeans with them and they look really nice. Looking forward to wearing them in England!

So happy I bought these!!
Beautiful boot!!!! Much more comfortable out of the box than I expected. I normally have a very hard time getting my foot into pull on boots that don't have a zipper, but the cut of these accomodated my high instep and arch. The heel is a great height for my "old" feet! They look very cool with bootcut jeans and I know theyll last just as long as all my other Ariat boots Ive purchased over the past 20 yrs. They're sporty, yet classic. Whats not to love?!
